Providing Legal Representation To Killingly, Danielson And Northeastern Connecticut Since 1959

The Sarantopoulos Family History

The long-standing reputation of the Sarantopoulos family dates back many decades.

The family set up roots in Killingly, Connecticut, back in the 1930s. Nicholas Sarantopoulos, founding partner of the firm, volunteered and served his country in WWII before being captured and spending time in a German POW camp. During an Allied bombing raid of the camp, he escaped and saved the life of another GI. Upon his return home, utilizing the GI Bill, Nicholas completed his education and went on to become a lawyer.

In 1959, Nicholas opened his own solo law practice, with the ultimate goal of helping his fellow Killingly citizens with their legal needs. Deciding to follow in his uncle's footsteps, after graduating from Killingly High School Christian Sarantopoulos completed his undergraduate degree at Yale and later law school at the University of Connecticut School of Law.

He returned to his home town of Killingly to continue the Sarantopoulos legacy by giving back to the community and helping his friends, family and those he grew up with.

In 1994, Nicholas and Christian founded Sarantopoulos & Sarantopoulos, LLC. Through the years, they established trust among the citizens of Killingly by providing experienced, honest and genuine legal representation.

Continuing The Legacy Of Giving Back To The Community

And that reputation continues today. After Nicholas retired several years ago, Attorney Christian Sarantopoulos and his staff of local Killingly and Pomfret residents have taken the reins and carry on the well-known Sarantopoulos family legacy today.
